Studio A+I is a full-service architectural and interior design firm located on Johns Island, SC, focusing on academic and athletic projects for K-12 and collegiate clients. The firm puts client service first, with personal attention to each project, no matter the type, size, or budget. Studio A+I is attentive to a client’s project goals, which include the building program, construction budget, and schedule. The firm also understands the importance of working collaboratively with a client and their team to program, design, and construct projects that satisfy each and every project parameter.

Studio A+I is led by Geoff Clever, AIA with over 25 years of educational and sports experience. Geoff is the primary contact for each of the firm’s projects, utilizing his personal experience leading numerous design efforts involving K-12 and collegiate projects. His experience working with school districts and colleges & universities has taught Geoff the importance of listening, being responsive, and stretching dollars as if they were his own. Geoff’s team includes an experienced staff of capable architects and designers with relevant, hands-on institutional experience.

Studio A+I offers a full range of services including planning, architecture, and interiors, as well as master planning, feasibility studies, fundraising packages, and recruiting packages. The firm employs its “best practices” experience gained from these previous K-12 and college & university projects to enable Studio A+I to successfully lead the programming, design, and construction administration activities from the outset of any job. The firm has worked successfully with various construction project delivery methods including Program Management, Construction Management, and Design-Build. Studio A+I serves not only Charleston and the State of South Carolina, but the Southeast as well.
